Shino-yaki matcha bowl made by the Kôbei kiln in Tajimi, in Gifu prefecture. Shino tableware (Shino-yaki) is a type of Mino tableware. This matcha tea bowl is made using the Shino kneading technique (Neriage Shino): made of red and white clay, kneaded together and fired with a Shino glaze.
