Shino-yaki matcha bowl made by the Kōbei kiln in Tajimi, Gifu Prefecture. Shino (Shino-yaki) tableware is a type of Mino pottery. This matcha tea bowl is made using the Shino kneading technique (Neriage Shino): made of red and white clay, kneaded together and fired with a Shino glaze.
