Satsuma-yaki matcha bowl with large-flowered bellflower motifs (Kikyo) made by Kaichi Furugaki in Kagoshima.
Kikyo bellflower is a plant that grows wild in hills and fields throughout Japan. It is considered one of the "seven autumn plants" and has been loved by the Japanese since ancient times.
