Tanaka Juhō
Son père, Tanaka Juhō, est issu d'une lignée de céramistes, son grand-père étant le premier Kuse Kyuhō.
Il a consacré sa vie à la poterie sous la tutelle de sa tante, la deuxième génération de Kuse Kyuhō.
En 1974, après le décès de la deuxième génération Kyuhō, il devient indépendant.
Il reçoit le nom d'artisan "Juhō" du maître Takeda Eishū, abbé en chef du temple Kennin-ji.
Reconnu maître artisan des arts traditionnels par le ministre du Commerce et de l'Industrie.
Conseiller de l’association de la céramique traditionnelle de Kyoto, Niryōkai.
