Matcha bowl / "Sakuragawa" Kyo-yaki
Kyo-yaki matcha bowl with cherry blossom pattern floating on running water made by Jyuhô Tanaka II, a traditional craftsman in Kyoto.
The pattern of cherry blossoms flowing in running water is called "Sakuragawa". It means that the celebrations continue. This running water motif represents "continuous congratulations", to signify the constant beginning of things again.
