Terracotta cup in ultramarine blue with black polka dots from Kohtoku Kuramaé. Kohtoku Kuramaé is a contemporary Japanese master ceramist. His workshop is located in the beautiful mountainous area of the Izu Peninsula, known from Yasunari KAWABATA's novel “The Dancer of Izu”. His works born in this natural setting are based on traditional Japanese technique but also draw inspiration from today's modern world.
