Roasting at high temperature on charcoal gives it woody and toasted flavors, which also evoke coffee and are mixed with the iodized notes specific to Japanese green tea. Anne-Sophie Pic likes to push the warm, spicy tones of this tea with Cubeb pepper which, in addition, brings a minty freshness to this blend.
