The 2026 King Cake with Matcha green tea and chestnuts in collaboration with the TOMO pastry shop!

In January 2026, Jugetsudo will offer a frangipane galette flavored with matcha and chestnuts, in collaboration with the TOMO pastry shop.

Visually and gastronomically, matcha is very prominent in this inverted puff pastry delicacy. Jugetsudo insisted not only on using the highest quality matcha, but also on using it generously in the frangipane.
Every year, collectors go wild to get their hands on the fèves (small porcelain figurines) from Jugestsudo, all imported directly from Japan. This year, it's a little horse, the animal of 2026 according to the Chinese zodiac.

Jugetsudo's galette des rois can be collected from the Jugetsudo shop (95 rue de Seine, 75006 Paris).
