Shinjō Iwasaki
Né en 1913 dans la préfecture de Shiga, il est le fils aîné de Kenzō Iwasaki, un céramiste ayant restauré la poterie Zeze-yaki, l'une des sept céramiques traditionnelles d'Enshū.
Diplômé de la section céramique de l'École supérieure des arts et métiers de Kyoto.
- 1985 : Lauréat du Prix culturel de la préfecture de Shiga
- Désigné comme artisan des métiers d'art traditionnels de la préfecture de Shiga
- 1987 : Fondateur du Musée Zeze-yaki
- 1991 : Honoré par le ministère de l'Industrie pour ses contributions aux industries traditionnelles
- 2009 : Décédé le 26 octobre
