Créé par le maître céramiste Shoraku Sasaki, ce bol à matcha en "raku rouge" est inspiré du célèbre "Kaga Koetsu," un bol emblématique conçu à l'origine par Koetsu Hon'ami. Figure de l'époque Momoyama, Koetsu était un grand passionné des arts et un créateur prolifique d'objets pour la cérémonie du thé, ayant fondé le village artistique de Koetsu. Ce bol se distingue par son design tranchant et sa forme droite, contrastant avec les lignes plus arrondies des créations traditionnelles de Koetsu.
