Le bol à matcha que nous présentons est l’œuvre de la cinquième génération d’artisans de la famille Nakamura, maîtres du four Yagoto, qui perpétuent la tradition du raku dans l'esprit du style de Koetsu. Fondé à Kyoto sous la demande du prince Arisugawa, le four a gagné son nom actuel grâce à la seconde génération, sur la recommandation de Sokuchusai Sōshō, maître de l'école Omotesenke. Formé au savoir-faire familial et en apprentissage auprès de grands maîtres, l’artisan actuel, successeur depuis 2001, expose au Japon et célèbre l'élégance intemporelle du raku à travers ses œuvres.
