The bowl matcha The piece we are presenting is the work of the fifth generation of Nakamura family artisans, masters of the Yagoto kiln, who perpetuate the raku tradition in the spirit of the Koetsu style. Founded in Kyoto at the request of Prince Arisugawa, the kiln acquired its current name thanks to the second generation, on the recommendation of Sokuchusai Sōshō, master of the Omotesenke school. Trained in the family's techniques and apprenticed under great masters, the current artisan, successor since 2001, exhibits in Japan and celebrates the timeless elegance of raku through his works.
