This pairing was an obvious one for Anne-Sophie Pic. She had worked it into her dessert "Strawberry of the woods, light cream, Genmaïcha tea, coconut and Geranium rosat". She likes the contrast between the slight bitterness of the green tea and the floral geranium rosat. Much more complex than basic rose from an aromatic point of view, Geranium rosat marries savoury and floral. The roasted side of the puffed rice pushes the floral side of the blend and brings a beautiful aromatic complexity to the whole ensemble.
